Applications for the Camino walk
The tourist boards of the South Istria cluster invite you to join an organized free walk along a section of the Camino South Istria trail, which will take place on May 10, 2025. Gathering and registration of registered participants will take place on Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 to 9:30 AM in front of the loggia in Mutvoran, from where organized bus transportation will take participants to the starting point located at the archaeological site of Nesactium near Valtura.
The planned route follows a section of the Camino trail in Southern Istria, with a total length of 10.5 km and an elevation difference of 197 meters. The trail is of an easier category, passing through forest paths, mostly on gravel roads. A short refreshment stop is planned halfway, in Marčana. Take advantage of the spring weather for a guided walk through beautiful forest landscapes. The walk is organized at participants' own risk, and adults are responsible for accompanying children. Upon reaching the finish line, a meal will be provided for all participants. Parking is available in Mutvoran on the designated parking area, where vehicles will be directed by members of the Marčana Volunteer Fire Department.
In case of bad weather, the organizer reserves the right to change the date, and registered participants will be informed in a timely manner.
